Monte,
What I’m learning from this experience is to document. …And to keep routine. To get up, get dressed, eat, work a bit, play a bit, get outside a bit, and eat and sleep once again. I check my Feedly on a daily basis (way more than I could when I actually DROVE to work), and I see blog posts such as yours.
You’ve been a role model writing them – I don’t think I could commit to 180 days of writing – DURING the school year! I’m writing now, though. Every day I’m out of the classroom (and the weekends, since it seems as if they’re the same). Thanks to your role modeling. I’ll even blog through “Spring Break” next week, thanks to your role modeling.
I’ve also learned this week to breathe.
Take a break when you need it.
Step back from something that does not cause you joy.
Breathe again.
Stretch.
Reach out for hugs.
Breathe again.
Soak up the air, let it pass through you, and know it’s what YOU need right now.
Take care of yourself, mister.

Thank you so much for checking in, Joy. Helped a lot. I will be “breathing to better.” Thank you.
I get it. Hang in there <3
Thank you, Erin. Take care.
Thanks for putting yourself out there. I totally feel the same way. Take care of you and the family. Stay strong.
Thank you, Cecelia. Hug that granddaughter of yours.
